About us
The German Association of the Automotive Industry (VDA) was founded in 1901 and headquartered in Berlin with more than 620 member companies, it represents the entire automotive value chain. As the voice of the automotive industry, VDA focused on making mobility even safer, more efficient, more comfortable, and better for the environment. The VDA is the organizer of the International Motor Show (IAA).
German car manufacturers and their suppliers have had the Quality Management Centre (QMC) since 1 August 1997. The QMC is the subsidiary of the German Association of the Automotive Industry e. V. (VDA). The tasks and services of the QMC are as diverse as the issues we deal with every day in quality management in the automotive industry. The spectrum ranges from the development of systems and methods to shaping the future of quality management systems in the automotive industry.
The VDA QMC China was founded in 2005 and operate since 2006 in China to provide training and coaching to the automotive experts in China, based on the VDA standards. They also translate VDA standards into Chinese and organize Conferences in mainland China and Taiwan for automotive industry. The VDA QMC China also have project teams with these members and Chinese expert partners in China, who are supporting the working group work of VDA QMC Germany.

VDA Standards
The VDA QMC Standards are drafted by the QMC project groups.
The members of the project groups are seconded for the duration of the project to contribute their knowledge and practical experience to the development of the QM standards.
The result is usually presented as a so-called “yellow volume”, which can be commented on by all stakeholders during a three-month objection period. Only after this feed-back has been taken into account is a new QM standard published and the project group discharged.
Thanks to the strong participation and cooperation of both manufacturers and the supply chain, a collective “state-of-the-art” is created.
VDA QMC China is translating those standards into Chinese to facilitate better understanding and wider distribution in the Chinese market. At the same time, in response to the revision of certain existing standards and the formulation of new ones, VDA QMC China has established corresponding working groups and project groups in accordance with the operational mechanisms of German headquarters. By incorporating practical experience, technical require-ments and industry feedback from the Chinese market at the early stage of standard development period, it ensures that Chinese perspectives are fully discussed and reflected in the standard-drafting process.
Training
With our trainings in China, we assure that you under-stand German automotive requirements based on our VDA standards.
Our training material is created by the experts of the German automotive industry and design on modern educational workshop level (incl. practical excises to improve the learning and practical understanding).
Our trainers are all released in Germany by a trainer release board of German automotive industry experts. That is how we assure a high-quality level of our training classes.
After passing the exam and/or knowledge test, we provide each trainee a certificate which proves these qualification (also requested for auditors of 3rd party IATF 16949 audits).
Certification
VDA Certified IATF 16949, VDA 6.1/6.2/6.4, VDA 6.3, VDA 6.5, VDA 6.7 & VDA 6.8 auditors, VDA Quality manager and internal auditor, also Product Safety & Conformity Representative (PSCR) qualification (those personal certificates are requested by German automotive industry and will be checked during 3rd party IATF 16949 audit).
Coaching

Networking is essential. Every year we reached many automotive experts with our on-line & off-line events, transferred and shared lots of know-how based on latest digital developments and new legal or automotive requirements (incl. new or updated VDA standards). These exchange and dialogue and experts are essential.
